Breathing In, Time Out (The Green Energy Landmark) - Photography Commission 2003 Kieran Ridley Brynmawr CBAT was approached by the architects for the Lakeside Development, a combined residential and retail scheme on the site of the long closed and about to be demolished Brynmawr Rubber Factory designed by Ove Arup, to develop a proposal for the integration of artworks within this area.    CBAT invited Kiran Ridley to make a final photographic record of the site as demolition was about to commence. This work is not intended as a comment on the demolition of this listed structure or as a contribution to the debate around this issue. The industrial legacy is however an integral part of the South Wales landscape and features strongly in the regeneration of towns in Blaenau Gwent.
