Atlantic Echo 2001 Dan Archer Ocean Way, Cardiff As part of its contribution to the Strategy for Public Art in Cardiff Bay, CBAT’s client was keen to commission an artist to develop a concept for landscaping, possibly including a water feature, in close consultation with the landscaping architects for the site. Moreover it was intented that the work should become an integrated whole within the soft landscaping along Ocean Way, but be clearly visible as a distinct feature. CBAT was appointed to develop the commission and work in close consultation with the landscape architects for the site and the chosen artist Dan Archer. The work is constructed from four large steel frames, interested by a large stone base.
