CBAT The Arts & Regeneration Agency offers a dedicated Art in Offices consultancy service for companies who recognise the benefits that artist-led initiatives can impart upon their employees and company ethos. Since the scheme was established in the late 1990s, CBAT has developed projects with a number of organisations, including Arup, Bro Morgannwg NHS Trust, Arts & Business Cymru, Hugh James Solicitors and numerous property developers.

WHAT

• The scheme provides companies with the opportunity to integrate a rolling exhibition programme of artworks within their working environment, across offices, foyers, boardrooms and communal spaces.

• CBAT works with clients to develop special events, such as private views, workshops and artist’s talks, which can provide an opportunity for corporate hospitality.

WHY

• Company staff are provided with a stimulating and changing visual environment.

• Integrating art into the working lives of staff enhances the image of the company both internally and to visiting clients and associates.

• Both emerging and established artists are provided with the opportunity to exhibit their work to a new audience within a corporate context.

• All works are for sale and can be purchased via The Arts Council for Wales’ Principality Collectorplan (an interest free instalment based purchase scheme designed to encourage the collection of contemporary art by the public)

HOW

• CBAT has extensive curatorial experience and over 1000 Welsh, British and International artists on file.

• CBAT works closely with clients to ensure the selection of artists is appropriate for the context of the host location and undertakes the full project management of the initiative from initiation through to installation and preview.
